What a fascinating time to be in the business of advertising. And by fascinating I mean crazy, inspiring, bonkers, brilliant and full of infinite possibilities. The speed of change can be daunting. But for those who embrace the unknown, it presents a platform for creativity unimagined in any previous era. Over the last few years, my team and I have jumped head first into new technology like artificial intelligence to connect people with brands.

But leading a large creative team full of different personalities and skill sets requires something more analog in nature — human intelligence. In my time as a creative director I've learned the importance of nurturing talent and offering the right mix of inspiration and guidance. We're surrounded by amazing technology, but this is still a people business. It's about creating a special team and real relationships with clients that lead to the type of effective, breakthrough work that first inspired us to be part of this crazy, inspiring, bonkers and brilliant industry.
